Accessing and Use of the National Do Not Call Registry (the
1. All AIS employees who access the Registry on behalf of an AIS client shall do so solely for the purpose of scrubbing a lead list for the client against the Registry.
2. All AIS employees who access the Registry on behalf of an AIS client shall access the Registry using only the same client's organization ID and password.
3. No AIS employee may access the Registry on behalf of an AIS client unless said client, either directly or through AIS, has paid the annual fee for access to the Registry.
Scrubbing Lead Lists
1. Before a lead list is sent to a client, the AIS employee responsible for such lead list shall do all of the following:
a. Ensure that the lead list has been scrubbed against the Registry the same day as the date on which the lead list is sent to the client. Lead lists must be scrubbed once every 30 days.
b. Ensure that the lead list has been scrubbed against any client-specific do not call list.
c. Document that the lead list was scrubbed against the Registry and any client-specific do not call list, and the date on which such scrubbing(s) occurred.
2. Upon sending a lead list to a client, the AIS employee responsible for such lead list shall do all of the following:
a. Notify the client in writing that the lead list may no longer be used as set forth by the 'Lead Expiration Date' printed on the lead order. A lead list may only be used for 30 days after the date of purchase.
b. Document that the client was notified that the lead list no longer may be used at the end of the same yearly quarter in which it was scrubbed unless it is again scrubbed against the Registry during the yearly quarter in which it is again used, and the date on which such notice was given.
Client-Specific Do Not Call Lists.
1. AIS shall maintain a separate client-specific do not call list for each of its clients.
2. Upon entering in to a business relationship with a client, the AIS employee responsible for entering in to such relationship shall acquire from the client a list of names and telephone numbers from the client, if any, to be used to scrub against any lead lists provided to the same client as discussed under B.1. (above)
3. All AIS employees who access a client-specific do not call list shall do so solely for the purpose of scrubbing a lead list for the client against that client's client-specific do not call list.
4. Any names, telephone numbers and addresses (if applicable) of persons who have requested to AIS that they wish to be on an AIS client's client-specific do not call list shall be added to such list immediately by the AIS employee who receives such request.
5. Upon receipt of a request from any person as provided in C.4. AIS shall document that said person's name, telephone number and address (if applicable) was added to the relevant AIS client's client-specific do not call list, and the date on which such addition occurred.
6. AIS will request from a client at least once every yearly quarter (January 1 through March 31, April 1 through June 31, July 1 through September 30 and October 1 through December 31) an updated client-specific do not call list, if the client maintains such list.
7. Upon making the request specified in C.6., AIS shall document that such request was made, and the date on which such request was made.
8. Upon receipt of any updated client-specific do not call list from a client, the AIS employee responsible for maintaining the business relationship with the client shall update AIS's internal client-specific do not call list which is used for the purpose of scrubbing against lead lists sold to said client.
9. The AIS employee who performs the update specified at C.8. shall document that such update was made, and the date on which such update occurred.
Training.
1. Any new AIS employee's shall be provided an orientation to this procedure before said employee participates in the transmission of any lead list to any AIS client.

Record Retention.
1. All documentation specified in these policies and procedures shall be kept for a period of no less than five (5) years.

These policies and procedures are adopted pursuant to the Federal Trade Commission Telemarketing Sales Rule at 16 CFR Part 310, et seq., (the "TSR"), and particularly the TSR's "safe harbor" provisions at 16 CFR Part 310.4(b)(3).
